Poverty in San Diego County

Published: 1/4/17

Despite years of steady job gains, the share of San Diegans living in poverty has grown in the years following the Great Recession. Use the dropdown menu to see the poverty rate by Census tract in 2006-10, in 2011-15 and the change between the two time periods. Because of the surveys' margins of error, changes for many tracts are too small to be considered statistically significant.
